COPA COCA COLA

The COPA Coca-Cola Press Conference was held in NBCL Factory on Friday March 20, 2009. Hon. Regional Commissioner Dr. Engineer James Alex Nsekela, Hon. Mr. Gachuma, MZFA Chairman Mr. Jackson Songora, MZFA Sec. Mr. Epaphra Swai, Cultural Officer Mrs. Rosemary Makenke, Operations Marking Rep. from Coca-Cola Mr. Paul Njuguna, General Manager NBCL Mr. Mahesh Gupta, total Sales and Marketing team and all the Lake Zone Agents and Stockiest were present for this conference.

NBCL took the initiative and successfully launched the “National Youth Football Championships— COPA Coca-Cola 2009” in the Lake Zone. This is the third year of Coca-Cola five years commitment to support Youth Football in the country.

The cheque of T.Shs. 20 million, 3,900 T-Shirts and Footballs were handed over to Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) by Mwanza Regional Commissioner.

Such initiatives will build and promote the sport from the grass root level which will help improve
participation and lead to providing quality players at the National Level.

We all should be proud of our involvement in sports which helps build the character of a Nation!!
