DPI SIMBA LTD

In 1999, Simba Plastics spun off its plastic piping business to form a joint venture with South African market leaders DPI Plastics (Pty) Ltd. to form DPI Simba Ltd. (DSL) in Tanzania.

DPI Plastics (Pty) Ltd. is Southern Africa’s largest manufacturer of PVC and HDPE water reticulation and drainage pipe and fitting systems. Today DPI is wholly-owned by industry leader Dawn, which is listed in the construction, building materials and fixtures sector of the JSE

In Tanzania, DPI Simba manufactures PVC and PE pipes for the civil engineering, mining, construction and agricultural sectors and is the largest manufacturer and marketer of PVC water reticulation, drainage piping systems and fittings in East and Central Africa.

DPI Simba is the recipient of Tanzania’s President’s Manufacturer of the Year award and reputed for its best business practices and high quality products.
